Game Level Designer
About The Position
Crazy Labs is looking for a Game Level Designer to join us on building the next Puzzle RPG in the Miraculous IP universe.
If you have experience with Game Design / Game Level Design and you are passionate about games, you’ll be perfect for us!
Our ideal candidate is collaborative, analytical, and proactive. You should thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and be willing to adapt and embrace design iterations.
Responsibilities:
- Design and balance appealing game levels from level concept, layout and level creation using level editors.
- Working with a talented and cross discipline team to grow products by adding new features while also continuously improving the existing game experience.
- Adjust and modify designs and the game levels based on game metrics, team input, internal/external playtests and community feedback
- Be the thought leader on all aspects of the level design
- Communicate design clearly and concisely with the team and throughout the studio
- Inspire the agile and multidisciplinary game team through progressive & creative design
Requirements
Your Profile:
- Passionate about games, fast learner, good math and analytics skills - a must
- Any experience in mobile level design or game design - advantage
- Specific experience in casual puzzle games (match 3, bubble shooter, etc.) - advantage
- Specific experience in RPG games (Puzzle RPG, Battle RPG, etc) - advantage
- Solid problem solving abilities and critical thinking
- Strong empathic ability to understand and “feel” our target audience
- You embrace F2P and enjoy working with KPIs and user feedback to adjust your designs
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and written
